Have the dealer run a CARFAX Vehicle History Report to see if the car was salvaged, rebuilt, flooded, failed inspection, or stolen. If you are looking at a car I have I would be happy to run one for you. It is just part of what I do to make sure you are comfortable with your next purchase.

Buying an extended warranty will save you several hundred dollars. If you buy a 3 or 4 year old car that has run out of manufacturer's warranty, a used car warranty will protect you should you have mechanical failure down the road. Unless you have an extended warranty, you are exposed to potential large losses.
